Roman Blinds
Roman blinds are soft fabric blinds which gather into pleats when raised.
The fabric that has rings on the back allowing a cord to go through and attach to the bar at the bottom. When raised, the fabric folds into layers forming into itself forming a valance. When lowered, it is just a panel of fabric.
Roman blinds originated in Italy and have been used as a window dressing for many centuries, hence the name “Roman”.
